During our visits to Ulamış Village, we engaged with local residents who produce and sell homemade goods such as jam, pickles, bread, hot sauce, traditional village bread, and handcrafted items. They expressed a strong interest in reaching a wider audience by selling their products online.
In response, we organized digital literacy and Canva training sessions during the summer. Over the course of two weeks, meeting twice per week, we guided participants on how to design posters and product labels using Canva, as well as how to create and manage Instagram accounts to support their sales efforts.
Through this initiative, we aimed to empower local producers with the digital skills needed to expand their businesses and adapt to the modern marketplace.
